Wow! So on Saturday last weekend we took a trip to Farmer Johns MTB Park.
The park itself was great! This was our first time there and there’s so much to do! From a smaller progression line to start all the way up to the big canyon gap, although I wasn’t brave enough to try that just yet! But all in all we loved it! It’s Great for all skill levels as most things are rollable but this also give you the confidence to send it over some of the bigger jumps and tables! Epic place all round good vibes! Will definitely be returning!
Catching our breath after our first couple of runs & the slip & slide that was the forest, we decided to take the progression line into the forest after our first couple of runs on this line, but that morning we'd had some heavy rain, and the downhill trails where completely sodden, and after our multi bike pile up and sliding down the hill on our backs instead of our bikes we decided not to go into the woods again for the rest of the day, but finger crossed conditions will be better on our next visit.
This mountain bike park is perfect for a trip out with your mates or alone, everyone is so friendly and easy to chat to, which is a given considering the MTB community is just awesome and so welcoming, but still if i was to return on my own for a quick session without my mates i wouldn't feel uncomfortable as everyone is so friendly.
The Drop above is the start of the smaller progression line all but this feature is rollable on this line but you can drop in a little further down if your not confident doing this as its all pretty much ground level at the start.
